They say "Happiness is where the heart is" and our heart is at home! What better way to share the joys of the season and bring many smiles than to spend a cozy Christmas at home with family. Our 'Fam Jam' was the focus of our happiness project this year! An impromptu idea...a tight timeline...and a whole lot of fam jamming fun! Check out for their special appearance on our blog this week.

We (well I) nominated my mother dearest to cook us a hearty Christmas lunch! We enjoyed some much needed 'Nom-Nom' time together. My mom got all excited and brought out her Christmassy table mats and adorned the table in festive shades to bring in the holiday season. This was Yang's first Christmas at my home...so we had to make it extra special:)

This was Yang's first Christmas at my home...so we had to make it extra special:) We organized a mini gift exchange and shared our last minute mall hunt deals! Check out this really cute 'Mr. and Mrs. Gingerbread' ugly sweater that my sister gifted me! I'm so in love with it!

I stole Yang's shoes to give me 'elk' feet. Thanks to me, he braved the icy cold in socks and flip flops:)

And now for a few clicks with my sister dearest! Who do you like better? Naughty or Nice?

I'm so excited to share my Fam Jam surprise with you! I got all of us matching red pajamas. I had this crazy brainwave and had to execute my plan! I realized that I did not have time to order 'holiday season' Pjs online. But I ended up finding these super cozy flannel Pjs from a store at my local mall! Yay! So glad we did this!

I wanted to do something special for all the loved ones in my life! And so I decided to take the holiday feels to the next level with some serious baking madness. My bestie suggested doing a cookie swap among friends this year. That led to Yang and I to experiment and bake our first set of cookies together. Lots of ginger and a whole lot of love in these delish ginger snap treats.

And then one weekday night, I went crazy relieving my life and work stress with a major happiness project (they are never ending ay?)! I found the cutest festive boxes at the dollar store (LOVE) and baked away to my hearts's delight! When I make brownies, there's enough for everyone!

I don't think my mom was too pleased when she found out that I had used up 30 eggs from her newly bought grocery! LOL! Oh well...she didn't complain when she ate up all those brownies:)

Sharing our warmth in the midst of the cold and dark winter days! But hey, since 'Winter is Coming' (#Game of Thrones reference), layer up, wear your widest smile, and embrace the love my friends :)

We had such a blast goofing around! By the way, the 'tripod' is mankind's greatest invention!

For the upcoming year, we wish you all the happiness that your heart desires. More importantly, we wish you good health. We hope your mind and body are strong, rejuvenated, and healthy! If your body stays on track with you, the rest of the goodies will follow suit.

I read something beautiful that I wanted to share. "Life is kind of like a party. You invite a lot of people. Some leave early, some stay all night, some laugh with you, some laugh at you, and some show up late. But in the end, after the fun, there are a few who stay to help clean up the mess. And most of the time they aren't event the ones who made the mess...".

We are truly blessed to have the best of friends and family that have always walked beside us to support us in our life's journey. This post is our little rendition to all the folks that are our special angels, always watching out for us and always standing beside us. Thank you for all that you do. Words cannot express our heart felt gratitude to you!

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year!

Happy Holidays!
